I’ve teamed up with the talented Shannon O’Toole again (she illustrated STOP READING THIS BOOK) and the fab team at Common Deer Press to create this fun read-aloud.
The Adventures of Grandmasaurus
Grandmasaureus is a role reversal story where the kids know better than the adult. On a field trip to the museum Grandma inhales some museum dust and magically sneezes herself into different dinosaurs. The kids have to keep reminding Grandmasaureus how to properly act out in the world. For example: you can’t run in a museum even if you are a Raptor!

One of the best attributes of Grandmasaurus is the diversity in characters. It’s important for kids to see the world around them in the books they read. Which is exactly why we included diverse characters in this story. Non-gendered characters, persons young and old, people of all different colours, people in wheel chairs and able-bodied people and more. This way, any and every reader can see themselves in the characters of the story.
