My Blog To Book Story
So my blog to book experience – I have been blogging since 2007 (and love blogging still) but I kept going into bookstores thinking “why don’t I have just one book on these shelves?!” I realized I was never going to get the magic “hey, let’s turn your blog into a book” email from a publisher…so I took the bull by the horns.
I wrote my first manuscript while I was pregnant. I pitched it while the newborn baby napped. It took months and months of hard work. But I got a publishing deal (no agent – queries and manuscripts and contracts were all self-taught thanks to Google).
