Game-Day Party Recipes Ideas: Super Bowl Recipes

February 1, 2019 5 Comments

Here is your go-to list for crowd pleasing Game-Day Party Recipes Ideas: Super Bowl Recipes. Easy, mess free, and delish! This is also a handy list for a party menu or pot-luck! These party recipes get you out of the kitchen and get you in front of the game. 🙂

Super Bowl Game Day Food Ideas

Game-Day Party Recipes Ideas: Super Bowl Recipes

It’s rare that we eat in front of the TV (I am a big sit-down-and-talk-about-your-day person). However, game day is an exception. Which is why my Game-Day Party Recipes Ideas: Super Bowl Recipes are low on mess (and most are finger foods).

Last year, I chose to put out self-serve stations (means I’m not on serving duty and can enjoy the game too). I made mason jar salads (a big hit – even with the kids!). Quesadillas and BLTs were the next course. Followed by a make your own sundae bar. It was an easy menu of game day food for a family of 5.

TIP for making BLTs for a crowd: How To Cook Bacon In The Oven it will save you so much time!

This year, I’m sure we are going to expand the menu. I’ve already had requests for nachos, chicken wings, and my Macaroni and Cheese Recipe from the kids. And I will, very likely, make my Best Brownies Recipe Ever the morning of the big game (any sooner than that – and they will be all eaten before game day!).

As for drinks: always have a pitcher of water for self-serve (because salty foods require water). Adults can have a choice of adult beverages. And for kids…some ginger ale + a few drops of food colouring (team colours of course) will make a special game day drink!

And if you are watching the game at home…I think a make your own sundae bar is a smart idea. As most tailgating food is salty…ending the game with something sweet is a sure fire touchdown. Your family can also have a little (or a lot).

Share! What are your game day/crowd pleasing food ideas?…

These are some great ideas! I am definitely going to be making an ice cream brownie bar at my next party!
