How do I make a gift from a jar?

All you need is a mason jar or a jam jar. Clean obviously! Then, fill it with one of the ideas on the list. A nice way to “wrap” it (or finish it off) is to put some fabric on top of the mason jar seal, then cover with the mason jar ring. Or you can wrap a ribbon or twine around it. It’s that simple!

Easy Gifts From A Jar Ideas

Many of these jar idea supplies can be easily found at the dollar store, grocery store, or in your own pantry. For the cookie/mug cake/brownie ideas you can layer your own ingredients or unbox a mix and pour it into the jar. Of course, don’t forget to write out the baking directions!

I’ve given brownie mix in a jar and cookie mix in a jar and they we so well received! It’s a practical gift which becomes a sweet treat. I’ve also received cupcakes in a jar at the holidays which was most unexpected (but so awesome!).
