A lil’ History about Rubik’s Cube
Ernõ Rubik, who was an professor in archetecture, wanted a tool to help his students understand three-dimensional challenges. Thus, he created the cube in 1974. In 1975, he patented it as the “Magic Cube”. It is now a well loved puzzle for all ages.
New cubes
- The Edge is a simple one-layer puzzle. It is a great way to get kids engaged in solving puzzles while still being small enough to take on the go.
- The 2×2 Mini Cube is the next step up. It offers a slightly larger challenge while still helping increase skills and technique.
- The 3×3 is the most recognizable cube. It is a challenge for all ages and skill levels. (as I mentioned…I still haven’t figured out one side)
- The Rubik’s Race is the only Rubik’s game designed for two players at once. It’s a test of speed, dexterity and skill.
