About Playmobil How To Train Your Dragons Playsets

Playmobil is excited to continue its partnership with DreamWorks and announce the release of a new line of Dragons play sets! The Dragons III line features the newest dragon, Light Fury, the arrival of baby dragons and the newest villain on the scene, Grimmel and his dragon Death Gripper.

These play sets are aged at 4+years. Available at most major retailers and independent toy stores. There are eight sets to choose from and you can play with them individually or collect them all! Visit playmobil.ca to see all the sets.

What I like about playmobil

I really like the open-ended creative play! Boys and girls (because playmobil is a non-gendered toy — yay!) can create story lines, actions, conversations and more with the characters. And these playmobil How To Train Your Dragons play sets are open-the-box-and-play (nothing to build, get batteries for, or charge with a usb). It’s straightforward play for kids.

What I like about How To Train Your Dragons

I will assume, dear readers, that you know this story from the movies, Netflix shows, books…for those who don’t here’s a basic synopis:

Vikings don’t like dragons. Boy viking befriends a dragon. Boy and dragon learn to work together (despite being different). Boy and dragon saves all the vikings. Vikings learn dragons & vikings can live together.

So what I like about this story and characters…that being different can be great. That having different abilities (hiccup — boy viking and Toothless — the dragon he befriends, both have permanent injuries) is not only normal…but so normal it’s part of a major movie and toy series. That collaboration and working together is a strength everyone shares.

    My daughter would love to have the Light Fury with Baby Dragon and Children if she had to choose , ha ha I dont think I could make her choose tho , she’d love to have them all !!

    I think my daughter would really like the set with Hiccup and Astrid with the baby dragon. They all look like great sets though. We are huge fans of How to Train Your Dragon and really enjoyed the latest movie.
