There are so many Things To Do In Las Vegas whether you are a couple, family, or group. Visiting, flight tours, shows, free things to do in Vegas and more. Here are some handy tips visiting Las Vegas…
Things To Do In Las Vegas
Visit the Strip. Visiting the Las Vegas Strip is low cost but big fun! You can opt for the no-cost option of simply walking the strip and seeing the sites of the fantastic array of famous hotels. Or, if you want to save the walk, you could buy a Las Vegas Monorail Ticket (only $14 Cdn) which conveniently runs from MGM Grand Hotel and SLS Hotel on the east side of the strip.
Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam Tours. These epic attractions are not to be missed. Book a hot air, balloon, or helicopter flight on expedia.ca today. Some tours take as little as 30 minutes where others are day-long adventures. And yes, Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam air tours are family friendly!
See a Show in Las Vegas. There is so much to choose from (nightly!) that it’s hard to choose…what’s your pleasure? Music? Magician? Comedy? Production? Tribute? You can easily book great deals for Las Vegas Shows and Events online before you go. There are shows in Las Vegas that you just can’t see anywhere else – like Cirque Du Soliel, Celine Dion, Jenifer Lopez, and The Blue Man Group.
Take a peak at the hotels. You can see the world through the utterly famous and lux Las Vegas hotels – like the Paris, the Belagio, the Venetian, the Luxor. And all of these hotels have something to draw you in…whether it be their shops or restaurants or attractions – you don’t have to be a gambler or gamer to enjoy Los Vegas hotels.
Check out free attractions in Las Vegas. There are actually a lot of free things to do in Las Vegas. Inside Caesars Palace watch the Fall of Atlantis – a daily fire and water show. The Freemont Street light show is a 24 hour mall situated under a LED canopy. The Fountains of Bellagio run every half hour, in the evenings, and is one of Vegas’ most free popular shows. Kids will not want to miss the circus acts every half hour at Circus Circus – a great attraction for families visiting Las Vegas.
Finally, take a picture in front of the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign – it’s at 5100 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas.

This brings back memories. I visited a few years back and it was an awesome trip.
Good to hear!
I have never been to Las Vegas but dream of going someday!! Seems like a place you would never run out of things to do!! 🙂
I’m going for the first time in a few weeks. Going to try to cover everything on this list!
Thanks for the ideas. Some are going on our list for our next trip to Vegas.
Never been there, but I can’t imagine ever being bored..lol, so much to see and do!!
I love Vegas. Fremont Street is always my absolute favorite place to visit. I spend more time there, than on the strip!
This is great. I’ve always wanted to go to Vegas but haven’t had the chance. Looks like there is no shortage of things to see and do!
I have only been to the Las Vegas airport. I have seen the strips from the airport and at some point I will get over to the strip. Looks like there’s a lot of fun things to do besides gambling.
I’ve never been to Vegas! These are great ideas. I would absolutely take in a show and visit all the fancy hotels.
I love going to Vegas! I would love to get to go again someday! The food is great and the different places to visit is even better! What Fun!
That looks like a such a fun time, glad you were able to enjoy a visit to Las Vegas!
Looks like you had a great time! You can’t go wrong with Vegas, there’s a million things to do.
My grandmother lived outside of Vegas. Our family trips growing up didn’t include much sightseeing (unless you count the yarn store…not kidding, we went there every time). I need to go back & see what Vegas truly has to offer.
Las Vegas is on my “life list”. I’ve never been there and I really want to go. My mom recently went and spent a lot of time out doing tours of the Hoover Dam among other things.
I have not really traveled much but these destinations in Vegas look amazing!! I would love to see the Grand Canyons!
The hot air balloon ride over the grand canyon would be so awesome, and to see the beauty from the sky, I can picture it now!!
There are so many fantastic things to do in Vegas. I am hoping i get to go and see some of the great shows in the next few years.
Thanks for the ideas
I’ve never been to Vegas but it looks like a blast especially because there’s so much to do
My sister and brother-in-law had so much fun, hubby and I are going with them next time
Vegas is great for a couples or friends trip; not so good for kids, especially small children.
I’ve been to Las Vegas and loved it, there was so much to see and do round about. The Red Rock Canyon, the Valley of Fire, Death Valley and the Giant Sequoias which were gigantic. Lots and lots more, we were there for a week and still couldn’t see all that there was on offer.
