I have struggled with figuring out the best way to travel with my camera. Along the way, I’ve learnt some Camera Case Tips which are handy for budding photographers (like myself). May I introduce you to the Tenba Switch 10 camera case my friends…
Camera Case Tips
- Choose a camera case which fits your camera. I have blogged about my Nikon D3300 often over the past year. I LOVE this camera…however it doesn’t exactly fit in my purse (in fact…it doesn’t at all fit in my purse). The quality of my dslr camera makes it a must-pack item when I travel…so I searched high and low for a camera case to fit this camera. Too big is cumbersome. Too small is useless. Pick a camera case which fits your camera (plus your camera accessories).
- Consider your camera accessories. This is one of those camera case tips you don’t always think of…but it’s important. Think about what accessories (extra lens, tripod, memory card, charger) you might need with you on a day trip, week trip, or month away. Can you carry these neatly in your camera case? I know that my charger is useful now and that I may grow into carrying a tripod – so I was looking for a camera case which fit my present and near future needs.
- Comfort is key. Actually, comfort and accessibility are key. Is the bag comfortable to wear with your gear in it? – AND – Can you easily access your gear?
Tenba’s unique Switch removable covers let you change the color and look of the bag to match your personal style.
Silent, magnetic closure means no loud velcro noises when opening the flap. Secondary snap closure provides extra security and is still super quiet.
Padded interior protects a mirrorless camera with 3-4 lenses, plus flash and accessories.
Included WeatherWrap rain cover is removable and reversible, with silver on one side to reflect the heat, and black on the other side for a bit more stealth and subtlety.
Zippered front accessory pocket has stretchy neoprene pockets inside, plus a metal key clip and D-ring to securely attach card wallets and other tools.
Yes, I’m currently using the Tenba Switch camera case. I like the fact that I can switch the covers (also makes it easy to find when travelling). The organization of the camera case is great. And the comfort and accessibility hit all the right places in my camera case tips.
I have a few different cameras, lenses, filters, and multiple other accessories. All of these are quite expensive when added up. So I always look for camera cases that have hard case or shell, padding and very protected; also lots of pockets!
You are so right Actually, comfort and accessibility are key.I finally found a bag last year that works perfect for me,these are great tip.
