Easy Melting Snowman Cookie Recipe

PARENT CLUB TIP: no time to make a from-scratch sugar cookie? (yeah…neither do I) – use a cookie mix instead! It’s still “home made” right?! June Cleaver would approve. I promise. 😉

Melted Snowman Cookie
Recipe Type: Dessert

Serves: 2 dozen
Kids will love making this easy Melted Snowman Cookie!
Ingredients
  • 1 package of sugar cookie mix
  • white icing
  • blue gel icing (or icing pen)
  • mini marshmallow
Instructions
  1. Bake sugar cookie mix according to package instructions
  2. When cooled ice with white icing
  3. Stick mini marshmallow to icing (before it dries and sets)
  4. Then, when icing is set…draw on eyes, nose, open mouth on mini marshmallow using blue icing
  5. Then, draw stick hands on white icing (on the cookie)
  6. Enjoy!

Melting Snowman Cookie Ideas…

  • Try using different colour edible gel pens
  • Try using edible markers to draw on face
  • Try adding pretzel arms and hands
  • Try adding mini chocolate chip eyes
  • Try adding a black top hat made out of fondant
  • Try drawing different faces
  • Try adding chocolate chip buttons
