commentsPARENT CLUB READING: Making Life Easier For Families

  • I made over 20 slow cooker and casserole dishes for my sister-in-law and brother-in-law when they had their 3 rd baby.
  • I help by donating food to those in need and donate my time to spread awareness for sick children.
  • I think volunteering at a food bank is a great way to involve the entire family this time of year.
  • I volunteer all year-long at school, i do gift box donations and shoe box donations as well
  • Just smile  and be patient with families around you
  • Donating is key for us! however in everyday life even before I had a bub I would offer a helping hand to solo travelling parents and hold doors for strollers! Simple things!
  • I run a used children’s clothing group for members to meet monthly and trade or cheaply buy used clothing for their families
  • I will babysit since it helps families to get time to do the other chores
  • My daughter and I are raising $25 in pennies to supply a family with clean water
  • Compared to so many others, we are a very fortunate household. As such, we always take the kids shopping during the holidays for them to choose gifts for another family who may not be as lucky as them.
  • I’m helping out a family that can’t afford some presents for their kids this Christmas. Nothing gave me more pleasure than to tell the mama she was going to have some presents covered by a friend ;)  you are right, it is our duty and human beings to help others.
  • I like to donate to our local food bank not just during the Christmas holidays but all year-round.  Hunger is not seasonal.
  • I want to make things easier on families because… well, I have a family of my own!  So I understand how hard times can be, and I believe that what goes around comes around.  So I volunteer, try to be kind to others, and donate to charitable causes when I can.

Goes to show we can all do something to make life easier for families. Even a smile can be a day changer!

I think that kindness goes a long way. I’m teaching my son this too. Smiling at strangers and just being pleasant to one-another goes a long way.
