Summer travel season is upon us and as such I share with you Smart Travel Tips + Cabin Zero Backpack Review. I, myself, will be heading to Europe this summer and will be using all the tips (and bag). Read on to make travel easier!…
Smart Travel Tips
- For luggage: choose items that are quickly recognizable in busy airports. I know, everyone likes a black bag or suitcase, but that’s easily lost in a sea of black bags and suitcases. Travel with luggage which stands out in colour — so you can easily keep an eye on it at your gate or spot it in the luggage claim area.
- Carry-on is important: most airlines allow one carry on + a personal bag (so think: carry on bag + fanny pack). Ensure your carry-on fits the size/weight requirements of your airline.
- Snacks: travel snacks are important. You never know when you are going to be faced with a delay or an in-flight menu which doesn’t fit your meal plan. - Travel outfit: plan for wearing layers whether you travel by car, train, bus, or airplane. Lots of people in a small space can make an environment hot. And also, air conditioning can bring you an unwanted travel chill.
- Medications: Pack medications in your personal bag so that you know they are with you at all times.
CabinZero

CabinZero has a very user-friendly website where you can search for bags, accessories, sale items and more. And there is a handy tab to shop by airlines giving you less leg work to do to find a bag which fits your travel.
There are lots of cabin-friendly bags on the market. Let me point you to the CabinZero Classic Cabin Backpack. Taking my own advice, I chose a sage forest colour so that it will stand out while I travel (but not neon-yellow-stand-out). It’s a classic colour which can easily blend into professional or personal travel.
Also to point out: Free shipping in the UK and free international delivery on orders from U.S.A. or over US $100 (rest of the world).
CABINZERO Ltd, the UK-born travel gear company known for its minimalist, carry-on backpacks and accessories, has just been awarded a King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade—an honour personally approved by His Majesty The King, and the most prestigious official UK business accolade.
Review of the CabinZero Classic Cabin Backpack
Classic Cabin Backpack 28L Sage Forest
Here are the details of this carry-on bag:
- Under-seat Approved
- Lightweight
- 20+ colours range
- $74.00 Canadian
Things I like about this bag:
- So many ways to carry it! Backpack style. Horizontal suitcase. Vertical suitcase.
- Side clips. Clips on the side ensure no pickpocket entry.
- Lightweight yet spacious. You can fit A LOT into this bag.
- Fits under the seat. With big competition to get a spot in those overhead compartments of airplanes — having the ability to slide your carry-on under the seat is huge.
