About the Asha and Baz Chapter Book Series
The Asha and Baz series is a chapter book series for readers in grades K-3 (or hi-low readers). It’s high action and low vocabulary/short sentence structure. The books can be read individually or in sequence. In every book, Asha and Baz are challenged by a school project (which is do-able at home or in the classroom using simple materials). Using a magic stick – they travel back in time to meet someone in history (a real person from history) who has done/invented/researched in the area of their school challenge. It is always a women in history who is also a women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math).
