I would LOVE to have the Hamilton Beach® Professional Quiet Blender. My kids and I thoroughly enjoy a nice smoothie after a long family bike ride. Yesterday my blender died (it was a Black and Decker). You could smell plastic burning and the motor sounded like a low growl. Nothing seemed to move freely in the blender. Smoke bellowed from the base of the unit! Clearly, this blender was NOT designed to crush ice. I would LOVE to own a blender that can actually handle ice effectively. My husband tells me that blenders are just simply not built to crush ice, but as a lover of ice blended summer drinks, I just simply have to agree to disagree. One of the features of the Hamilton Beach® Professional Quiet Blender is that it has a powerful 1500 Watt/2 peak horsepower motor that crushes ice and frozen ingredients in seconds. I would want the Hamilton Beach® Professional Quiet Blender because I am desperately in need of a blender that can actually handle crushing frozen fruit such as frozen clumps of pineapples and strawberries without blowing out the motor (currently, I am without a blender. A problem I hope to remedy). But as I was saying, I love making smoothies for my family using frozen fruit instead of ice cubes. I find it makes a yummier tasting smoothie. However, for some blenders, this has proven to be too much of a challenge. I am hopeful that the Hamilton Beach® Professional Quiet Blender can rise to the challenge with its hardened, stainless-steel blades that can rotate at speeds over 105 mph to blast through tough ingredients (including my frozen berries).

It’s kismet!!!! I am most interested in the Hamilton Beach® Professional Quiet Blender! My old blender bit the big one last week and now I find myself in desperate need of a new one. It’s important for me to have a blender that can actually handle ice/frozen berries. I can tell you that my old blender could not. Even when it was brand new, the motor just wasn’t strong enough. It was expected that when I used my blender the whole house would smell like melted wires (clearly not a good sign). It was also VERY LOUD!!!! Sounds like the Hamilton Beach® Professional Quiet Blender was made for me; a strong motor, smoothie setting, ice crush setting and bosts to be quiet…..I’m in love.
