Book Giveaway THE ADVENTURES OF GRANDMASAURUS by Caroline Fernandez via www.parentclub.ca! Not only is THE ADVENTURES OF GRANDMASAURUS a great holiday gift idea (because it really is) but it is also a great picture book your kids will want to read again and again.

About this picture book

When magic museum dust makes Grandma start sneezing, we know we’re in for a wild time. With each sneeze, Grandma turns into a different dinosaur and takes off. It’s up to me and Moonie to track her down and keep her from making a mess of the museum – before we miss the bus home! There is a world of adventure searching for and identifying Grandmasaurus. This intergenerational tale also shows kids know best when it comes to proper behaviour at the museum!

I happen to have a dinosaur-fan in my house (my son) so doing the dino research for this book was easy. We would brainstorm which dinosaurs to include and why during dinner table conversations. Plus, I liked the idea of writing a role-reversal story (where the kids are the ones who know better and the adults are not behaving well). Sometimes, it’s fun to put kids in charge of events and see where the story goes.

I think anyone who loves dinosaurs, adventure, role-reversal, and laugh-out-loud stories will enjoy this book!

Kirkus Review

Readers with embarrassingly rambunctious relatives of their own will moo-roar in sympathy.
