What DIY Home Improvement Projects are on your to-do list? Whether it’s building a deck, trimming trees, updating your garden, building a deck or setting up a fence, now is the perfect time to tackle your home improvement projects.

Landscaping

STIHL MSA 120 C-BQTOOL STIHL MSA 120 C-BQ: – This lightweight lithium-ion battery chain saw is perfect for grounds maintenance and smaller jobs. It comes equipped with STIHL’s electric motor, which runs quietly and is extremely energy efficient, lightweight, and compact. This chain saw also comes with STIHL’s Quickstop ‘Super’ chain brake for improved safety.

TIPS: Check by-laws, be careful of hydro and phone lines, and wear protective glasses.  You cannot burn wood in open pits in many communities, so research disposal options. You should never work alone with chainsaws and you should always ensure that someone else – who can help in an emergency – is within a close distance.

Updating the garden

STIHL HSA 45TOOL STIHL HSA 45: –TheHSA 45 lithium-ion battery hedge trimmer provides great cutting performance for trimming shrubs and bushes in the yard. This model comes with a double-sided cutter blade, screw-on tip protector, and an integrated 18 V lithium-ion battery with charge level indicator.

TIPS: Go slow, have a plan, and wear shoes which cover your toes. Cut the vertical sides of a hedge first, using an upward and downward sweeping motion and moving forwards along the hedge as you work.

Home renovation (inside and out)

STIHL TSA 230TOOL STIHL TSA 230:  – The STIHL TSA 230 is the world’s first battery-powered cut-off machine. With a 230 mm (9”) cutting wheel and emission-free cordless technology, the TSA 230 ensures clean work both indoors and outdoors. Its light and compact design with ergonomic handle allows for ease of use and comfortable operation. This machine will be your new favourite tool for construction and renovation projects.

TIPS: Wear a mask, wear protective glasses, and ensure spatial distance between you and anyone else working on your home renovation project. Working with power tools can throw up stones, debris or dirt, and your hands and feet will be right on the front lines. STIHL offers an extensive range of special gloves and shoes to protect your hands and feet.

STIHL’s lithium-ion products are designed to operate in noise-sensitive areas, such as around the house and in the garden. The lithium-ion battery packs are highly efficient – making these STIHL products better for the environment.

What DIY Home Improvement Projects or custom home remodeling are on your to-do list? Whether it’s building a deck, trimming trees, updating your garden, building a deck or setting up a fence, now is the perfect time to tackle your home improvement projects.

Wood pile, DIY, renos, home renovation

So far this year, my husband has built two different decks with friends. It’s time spent being productive, outdoors, and bonding with your tribe.  That makes me think of another DIY Home Improvement Project tip…don’t be afraid to ask friends and family to help out. Many hands make light work (especially if they are handy hands).

Disclosure: This post is in partnership with STIHL. Tips are my own.

We have several old trees on our property that need to be cleared. I think my husband would love a new Stihl Chainsaw for the job.

We have so many projects to work on it would be hard to choose just one. I do know that the tasks we have planned would be so much easier to do with some of these tools! Stihl is the one brand we usually check out first when we need to buy a new tool or gadget for around the house.

There’s a lot I want to do with my back patio and my shed just needs to go so we can build a new one. We haven’t gone into the planning stages yet though.

They all sound like great products. I need that saw to cut down some of our trees in our yard instead of paying ridiculous prices for someone to do it for me.

I would love to get this chain saw. We cut a lot of wood to burn for the winter. I need a light weight chainsaw to make it easier for me.

We cleaned up a lot of brush in our yard this summer. A chainsaw like this would have been a big help. I will have to add it to my wish list.

I so wish I knew how to use one of these. But once we finally own a home and not an apartment, I’m sure we’ll figure it out!

We have to trim some of our trees and then decide if one needs to come down, it had ants and then a woodpecker went after the ants. So frustrating but nature has it’s way sometimes.
