Kid’s Mock Cocktail Recipe – No booze

March 16, 2017 14 Comments

My kids and I developed this fantastic (and super easy) Kid’s Mock Cocktail Recipe. It’s fresh, yummy, and a fun kid drink to serve at any party or get together. You’re going to LOVE this…

Kid's Mock Cocktail Recipe

Aside: We served our Kid’s Mock Cocktail Recipe in margarita glasses. The kids were thrilled to sip from fancy glasses. If you want to keep this drink soda pop-free you could substitute the pop with cranberry juice. It will change the colour but it will still taste great.

This drink would go great not only as a beverage but as one of your birthday party activities (think: birthday kid gets to do the shaking and serving; making him/her the hostess with the mostess – or host with the most). We served this drink at a party and it was a huge hit.

Even as a grown up – I love this mocktail recipe. It’s light and fresh.

Sometimes a kid boredom buster can be as easy as serving a special drink. Or doing a fun activity.  Something out of the ordinary seems to always entertain nicely. I used to love Shirley Temples when I was a kid. So decorative with the pretty drink, cherry and parasol. I would have loved this as a kid. (looks great now)

I’m glad I found this post. My son and I were at the mall and he wanted to buy a martini-style plastic slushy glass (the kind you put in the freezer) so I’ll make this drink recipe for him and serve it to him for a giggle.

I think I would like this as well as I’m not a big drinker and this does sound refreshing

Love these… when I think ahead – and now that I’ve seen this I will – I like to freeze the cherry with a little of the juice in ice cube trays with sprite or gingerale.
