South St. Burger: dinner just got better

November 28, 2016 45 Comments

Dinner is never easy. But look ->South St. Burger: Dinner Just Got Better. Being able to walk in and order something made-to-order for picky eaters (or made-to-taste for gourmet palettes) can be a sanity saver. And plus, watching someone make your food is great entertainment…

Note: the following giveaway is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec.

South St. Burger: Dinner just got better

Our main dinner dilemma is that everyone wants to eat something different. My son wants “plain”. My husband wants gourmet. Me? I just want to eat in peace.south-st-burger
About South St. Burger

Everyone gets to customize their own dinner! My son had a hot dog with ketchup (his favourite dinner of all dinners). A burger for my man who loves food (sautéed mushrooms, swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, garlic mayo). And some really, really, good French fries (and I’m a bit of a fries connoisseur so take my word on this).

You can also order poutine, garden salad, veggie burger, chicken burger, or grilled sausage. Oh, and I hear they have some killer milkshakes.

Bonus points: they have gluten-free burger buns on the menu. And if you are on a FODMAP diet…the French fries are a fit!

Expect fresh 4oz and 6oz beef patties made from 100% Angus beef, raised without antibiotics, hormones and prepared without any preservatives or additives are better. Fries cut by hand are better. Milkshakes made with two scoops of real ice cream are better.

Grilled chicken breasts, veggie burgers as well as Oktoberfest sausages and all-beef hot dogs are also on the menu.

With 30 traditional and gourmet condiments, from dill pickles to dijon horseradish, guacamole and mango chutney, customers can personalize their orders at no extra charge. Premium toppings include a selection of five real cheeses, grilled ginger glazed pineapple, Applewood smoked bacon, and sautéed mushrooms.

There’s sure to be a South St. Burger location near you!

PARENT CLUB TIPS: Family dinner entertainment

Go around the table and have everyone share 4 things which happened in their respective days. Good and bad (or speaker’s choice). It’s a great way to get kids to talk (because you know how they like to clam up) plus it connects you all in a family activity. Parents have to share too because it builds perspective in kids (i.e. the world doesn’t revolve around them and that parents have lives too).

It’s dinner entertainment you can have at home or in a restaurant; making it a smart family activity.
