Go To Your People With Choice Hotels

September 19, 2016 25 Comments

Go To Your People With Choice Hotels! We all have people we want to go see (or have come visit us). Just this past summer, we went to Spain to see our people (we went to “surprise” everyone, but unfortunately, the surprise was on us…we had no where to stay!). Learn from my mistake and let Choice Hotels take care of accommodation while you take care of seeing your people…

Go To Your People With Choice Hotels

A snapshot of our Spain experience: cramped, mattresses on floors, one bathroom shared by too-many.

What if my Spain-experience was reversed? Imagine your parents (or parents-in-law) showing up for a surprise visit…just like that. Are you ready for a visit? Is your house ready for a visit?

Maybe not-so-much.

Luckily, there is a Choice Hotel nearby so you always have a choice.

In Spain, I felt like we didn’t have a home base. And when, we finally did get cramped accommodation…I felt like we were a burden to the family who gave us a room. We didn’t sleep well (mattress on floor), had to line-up for showers (kids got priority), and breakfast was standing room only. I wish we had had a better choice…

Choice Hotels

From Victoria, BC, to St. John’s, NL, Choice Hotels offers a friendly, affordable, and comfortable night’s stay.

You can be ready for for any surprise visits because there are over 300 Choice Hotels located across the country. Comfort and convenience – now that’s a good choice!

Many of the properties offer a wide variety of special amenities and accommodations, including: fitness centres (great to keep guests fit); swimming pools (kids will love this); free high-speed Internet access (to post those family photos); business and banquet services; complimentary shuttle service (beat the airport traffic); free continental or full breakfast facilities (what a great way to start the day); and on-site restaurants (so Grandma and Grandpa can enjoy a family dinner with you and the grandchildren).

Know that when your people come for a surprise visit – they will be welcomed with a smile. Because your people…are good people…and good people deserve the best.

AMENITIES? usually thats not very important, because the few times we did have to stay in a hotel, it was just one night, usually very late getting there, just spend the night and keep traveling onwards the next day, early morning. (although if we are pulling the camper we’re probably going to make sure the parking lot is big enough LOL)

I have never stayed in a Choice Hotel before but they sound like they have had a good rep for providing a great experience.

I have never stayed at a Choice Hotel before but definitely will check out. We’ve got lots of little trips coming up and I’d like to see what my different options are.

I’ve never stayed at a Choice Hotel before, but if it ever comes to cramped quarters, I’ll definitely keep them in mind. I’m sure it was much better for you than sleeping on a mattress in the floor and sharing one bathroom between so many people.

We do not travel too much because I am not a fan of flying. I would love to check out choice hotels though.

Choice Hotels tend to be a good option for us when we’re vacationing. We stop at some of them for little weekend getaways too.

I just look for a clean hotel, with a room that doesn’t stink, and a clean bathroom.. the rest is just icing on the cake

We have stayed at the various hotels in the Choice Hotels family whenever we go on road trips. They’re all over the U.S. and the ones we’ve stayed in serve very nice breakfasts which the kids really enjoy.

I like a nice sized bathroom. Often they’re just so small. I like it when the door doesn’t almost hit the toilet when you open it. We’ve been doing a lot of traveling so it’s good to know there’s one close by.

Choice Hotels is a great chain of hotels. I like that they offer a free breakfast and they usually have a pool. An in-hotel restaurant is a plus too.

I will have to check this out. When I go on business trips, the hotel accommodation is paid for by the sponsor. However, for personal trips, I think Choice Hotels would be a very good option for me and my family.

Yikes! We rarely ever travel because of the cost of hotels and such with a family of 5. I would look into this for future trips.
