How To Have More Fun For Less At Great Wolf Lodge

January 28, 2016 16 Comments

How To Have More Fun For Less At Great Wolf Lodge – these are my tips for keeping your visit to Great Wolf Lodge friendly to the family budget. And this will make your next family getaway a whole lot easier…

How To Have More Fun For Less At Great Wolf Lodge

Book through expedia.ca

Save $ by booking your Great Wolf Lodge visit through Expedia.ca. Why? Because it’s fast. It’s easy. There is no extra cost (signing up to expedia.ca membership is FREE).  Plus, you earn points towards future travel (so if you are going to spend money on booking – why wouldn’t you want to earn points?!).

Expedia.ca

I also liked the fact my itinerary was online (made it easy for checking in). Plus, I was able to pick my room (and was provided recommendations based on the ages of my kids – we went with Expedia.ca’s recommendation of a kid’s cabin room as the most economical choice for our family of 5).

Don’t Be Shy To Bring Breakfast
More Fun For Less Tips For Great Wolf Lodge

Yes, Great Wolf Lodge has a great all-you-can-eat buffet. Plus, they have meal plans for adults and kids by the day. However, I know my kids aren’t huge breakfast eaters. Plus, we wanted to get to the water park early. So, I made some Blender Apple Muffins and packed applesauce, dry cereal, tea (for me), and a carton of milk. This cut down on meal costs – plus got us to the water park in time to have our choice of chairs (which is hard to find any time after 10am).

I also packed brownies and cookies as an après water park snack; meaning we didn’t have to stand in line at the cafe and again…it was more fun for less.

Pack less

Great Wolf Lodge has a family-size soap dispenser (shampoo/conditioner/body wash in one) in the shower so no need to buy and pack these toiletries.

Enjoy The Included Great Wolf Lodge Activities

Water park admittance is included in your booking fee. Plus, there lot’s of “included” activities to enjoy like story time, dance parties in the great hall, colouring in the art room, character meet n’ greats, and more (we happened to be there the evening they roasted marshmallows out front – it was awesome).Expedia.ca Big World Explorer

Expedia.ca asked me if I was interested in going to Great Wolf Lodge (Niagara). Answer: YES! It was truly a fun family getaway 🙂 Follow my #BigWorldExplorer trip on Instagram.

Great Wolf Lodge is always such a great time. There’s really nothing like an indoor water park. You can have fun year round!

I have always wanted to go to the Great Wolf Lodge. Someday I’d love to take my girls there. I think we would all have so much fun. We are a few hours away from WI Dells, so this would be a fun trip for us.
