The zoom works great and with serious definition. This is the Nikon lens you want to take with you to the school concert when you know you’ll be standing at the back of the gym. It captures objects at distance with serious definition. And yes, even in video mode (so you can zoom in on your child singing on the stage with her class).
And in terms of definition – the clarity is that of what you expect from a Nikon product…

I have been interested in a new lens for a while. I need a good macro lens for my close up shots.
My hubby has Canon, but I was always a Nikon gal. Close up shots are the hardest to do. Great job!
Wow, sounds like a great lens… I got my Nikon last Christmas so it is about time I get an upgraded lens. Thanks for sharing…
This was my very first lens I purchased for my Nikon. I love it and the range in provides. I have 5 Nikon lenses now and would love to add more if possible.

This sounds like a great lens! I love when a lens can do so many different zooms, less equipment to carry around.
Just in time as I am shopping for a new camera. I love the example photos you provided.
I could really use a new camera. I’m thinking about buying one. Mine is like 8 years old.
I have this lens but don’t really use it that much. It’s great for theme parks though!
I don’t use a regular camera, just my smartphones for taking pictures for my blog. But the difference with and without this lens is indeed noticeable so I’ll keep it in mind when I finally get my first real full-function camera.
Wow, your camera really does take beautiful images. I love how different all of the pictures with the different lenses are.
Reviews like this helps buyers to make the right decision. I always thought of Nikon as a great brand.
This looks like a great lens. I am looking for a new camera. I am excited to start taking good photos again.
You can really see a difference the lens makes. I will have to check it out.
That sounds like this lens will do triple duty. Thanks for the pics showing the different zooms too.

omg wow! I love the picture quality of the Nikon. I have never owned one but loving what i am seeing
We have that lens in our bag. Try using it with a tripod for those really far scenes that need a long lens like that. Moon shots are fun.
