I thought it timely to follow up on The Sonicare For Kids Experience my daughter is reviewing this summer for Parent Club. As someone who just got her braces off…she is actually very reliable with taking good care of her teeth (the agony of braces made her realize the importance of good teeth).
The Sonicare For Kids Experience
I have been using the toothbrush for a month now and I can tell that my teeth are cleaner and whiter. It works really well.
There you have it…a once sentence review. Absolutely authentic to a 12 year old…she would text forever but only write one succinct sentence….the irony is not lost on me.
Read my daughter’s first review of Philips Sonicare For Kids
What I’ve noticed in her teeth brushing habits. She’s keen to brush. She brushes well. She uses the different modes on the Sonicare For Kids toothbrush. She has not added the customized stickers (which would be totally fun for a younger kid – but at age 12 – she’s past that I guess). She even packed her Sonicare for our trip to the cottage (I thought she would take a portable/fold-able toothbrush but she wanted her Sonicare).
Tooth Brushing Tips
- Brush everyday
- Play music as you brush (fun factor there)
- Brush in front of a mirror (see what/where you are brushing)
- Rinse and spit
- Rinse your toothbrush (every single time)
- Allow your toothbrush to air dry
- Place your rechargeable toothbrush on the charger so that it will have full power for next use
- Take your rechargeable toothbrush with you when you travel (it’s comfort and convenience)

thats a good idea to play music as they brush! My husband brushes his teeth with our daughter and makes noises along with his brushing which seems to really entertain our daughter
that’s a cool product
We have a little toy in our bathroom that plays Old McDonald and the kids brush till its done
Love these ideas to get kids teeth clean as its always a struggle!
I remember when mine were little (all adults now) that I used an old fashioned egg timer and they had to brush until the sand had gone through. There was no such thing as floss in those days but now my grandchildren even floss their teeth and the oldest is only 7.
