Powered By Accuracy Giveaway

August 20, 2015 64 Comments

This Powered By Accuracy Giveaway hits close to home as I have many family members who depend on accuracy when when monitor their blood glucose levels to manage a disease. Diabetes. Not only will this giveaway appeal to hockey fans (see the fantastic giveaway below)…it will also appeal to us parents…who live day to day…moment to moment…with accuracy.

Powered By Accuracy Giveaway

Aside: Someone, close to my heart, has to monitor his blood on a regular basis. The accuracy of his numbers affects his medication…his diet…but not his passion for active living.

From checking his blood at home. And taking his pocket-sized blood testing machine away from home. Accuracy is portable and accessible.

It’s phenomenal accuracy can do.

I’m inspired by the powered by accuracy videos of Max Domi, Dessi Zaharieva, and James Coones. These ordinary people do extraordinary things while living day to day with diabetes. For them being powered by accuracy is a way of life.

About Powered By Accuracy…

As a leader in diabetes care, the new Powered By Accuracy program sheds light on the importance of accuracy, and the key role it plays in the lives of millions of Canadians living with diabetes. The campaign features several prominent Canadians who have achieved extraordinary professional milestones despite living with diabetes. Through dynamic videos, these Canadians share their story and the role of accuracy as it relates to the blood glucose readings and managing their disease.

Powered By Accuracy Giveaway

Enter for a chance to win this fantastic Powered By Accuracy Giveaway, valued at $150, which includes an official Team Canada hat and puck signed by Max Domi. This giveaway is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec.

My brother had old age diabetes and luckily only had to take tablets. However a friend has diabetes too and she has to be very careful and accurate to avoid problems. This video shows that you can lead a normal life if you don’t let the illness take over, you just have to be very accurate with your medication and food.

My nephew was diagnosed with diabetes at age 8. It was a difficult time for him to adjust to the sudden life change at such a young age. As he grew into his teenage years he remained determined and didn’t let this disease affect his ability to accomplish his best… in sports etc.
