I’m planning summer travels which means I’m assessing my closet and thinking mix n’ match and pack-a-bility of my clothes (and the items I need want should buy). I’ve pulled together a pallet of Summer Travel Packing List Inspiration to make summer travel easier…

Summer Travel Packing List Inspiration
I LOVE mix n’ match when it comes to summer style. You can get lots of great outfits out of 4 essential pieces (like jeans, t-shirt, tank top, and skirt). Pack less yet have more choices! Sounds about right n’est pas?!…

I like to pack neutrals and then have one (ok maybe two) colour pop go-tos to add style to my basics. My neutrals are always black and white (just basic building blocks). On those two colours you can add colourful scarves, necklaces, cardigans, shoes…you can dress it up or down…you can layer…you can build up or take away.
I also like to mix n’ match summer travel clothes like basic jeans shorts and flowy skirts. This gives you options for daytime wear. If you are spending a day en ville in Paris – you want the flowy skirt (because French women always dress when they are en ville). But jean shorts and beige shorts teamed with a tank top are perfect for playing tourist in Provence; walking the weekly markets.
And don’t forget summer evening wardrobe! A maxi dress is a must! It can be casual yet elegant (isn’t elegant a dreamy style!…).
And be mindful of the types of fabrics when you pack. Linen is lovely but wrinkles like a baked apple.
By the way – I’ve given up on heels. I’m just not a heel-girl (I’d like to be…I’m envious of heel-girls…but I just cannot walk in heels…thus…I have finally given myself permission to simply give up and own the fact that I am a flat-girl-for-life).
I also like to pack neutrals, they will mix-n-match with any color
It really is a knack to pack well so that it keeps items to a minimum. I also roll my clothes when packing to minimize wrinkles.
I always end up over packing when I travel!
