I feel like buying something new. Must be Spring! Tired of my clothes, shoes, jackets, style…I’m craving new. Yet of course, there is a little bothersome thing called: conscious. I don’t need something new. Money is better spent on groceries and summer camp. However, I’m thinking that Little Style Changes Make a Big Difference…
- Flippy layers
- glossy dark blond
- highlight blond
- oh – just – yuck
- red
And as of last week…

Brunettes have more fun right?…
Little Style Changes Make a Big Difference
I never really thought of my changing hair as being a big change (except the red – red was huge). Once in a while I’ll change a tone, shift a shade, get some layers (though – throughout the years – it has always been mandatory for my hair to be able to go up into a ponytail – that’s a have-to).
I did get bangs after my first daughter was born (haircut mishap – I never went back to that hairdresser – and I’ve destroyed any photo evidence).
And changing your hair doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Buy a box of hair colour! Or go to a hairdresser (local shops generally have lower price points than big name downtown shops). Ask for a jr. stylist instead of the head hair honcho.
I LOVE being a brunette (which is possible my real hair colour – not sure – it’s been a long time since I’ve been “real”). It’s not brassy. It’s warm. It makes me feel young and grown up — both at the same time.
