February 14th is coming and we might be on the look out for class crafts, family fun, and Valentine’s Day Activities. From Valentine’s Day class treats to a Valentine’s Day chocolate cupcake recipe…I’ve brought back a few posts from the past to create this Valentine’s Day Activities round-up.
Valentine’s Day Class Treats
Yes, chocolate and candy are the go-to for treats for kids on Valentine’s Day. But I feel for the teacher who has to deal with 24+ kids hopped up on sugar and excitement – thus I opt for non-food class treats. You could send pencils, rulers, animal figures, stickers, tattoos. There are lots of options which are inexpensive and easy.
DIY Cut A Paper Heart
Ok – from making the hearts for the class treats craft above or to make the sugar stencil for the chocolate cupcake recipe below…knowing how to cut a paper heart is kinda important on Valentine’s Day. I made the DIY Cut A Paper Heart tutorial super easy so that kids can make them.
Valentine’s Day Chocolate Cupcakes
Yum! Ok no chocolate treats at school means you get to make up for it at home after-school! Make these Valentine’s Day Chocolate Cupcakes with your kids and enjoy. They are pretty delish! Great recipe for your next birthday party or potluck.
Valentine’s Day Countdown Calendar
Of all of my Valentine’s Day Activities – this one works the best with little kids. No more “Is it TODAY?!” my Valentine’s Day Countdown Calendar is a free printable you can print from your desktop onto your printer and then tape to the fridge. And who doesn’t love a countdown to a special day?!

I love the idea of giving away pencils instead of treats.
