I love getting and receiving holiday #WellWishes. It reminds me of ties to friends and family. It connects. Helps. Gives help. And simply spreads cheer. I’m sharing some Easy Ways To Send #WellWishes – and really it is so straightforward…
Easy Ways To Send #WellWishes
E-mail is an easy way to send well wishes to business colleagues. It’s quick. Free. Accessible. Mobile. I recommend to keep it on a professional/friendly level; staying away from sending animated GIFs and pictures of cats wearing Santa hats. A heart felt message noting how appreciative you are of their *business* *consulting* *loyalty* *partnership* *insert work action here* and wish them a very happy and safe holiday season.
A phone call of well wishes can make the day of someone. I reserve phone call well wishes to family and friends far and away – like my in-laws in France. An e-mail to them would be too impersonal (and my written French is rusty anyway) and though I mailed a holiday card – speaking in person to in-laws is a must for me. Plus, the kids get to speak with their grandparents! In these fast pace days of family routine, it’s important to stop and talk.
Leading up to the holidays, I find myself sending well wishes on social media more and more. Why? Well, my virtual friends are there. Along with my fellow bloggers. Writers. Parents. Singles. Brands and charities. Let’s face it…social media is the most common meeting place these days. Sending out #WellWishes on social media goes beyond borders, neighbourhoods, and walls.
This year, Kraft is supporting Children’s Miracle Network through the #WellWishes campaign. #WellWishes is a digital greeting card where you can share your best wishes and holiday greetings for children in hospital by using the hashtag on social platforms.
You can particpate by using the #WellWishes hashtag to share your special holiday message with children in hosptial. Kraft will donate $1 to Children’s Miracle Network with your purchase of any Kraft product or when you post your #WellWishes (up to a maximum of $50,000). You’ll be able to see all of the holiday #WellWishes at www.walmart.
Yes, I still send out holiday post cards by mail (popped them in the mail box yesterday as a matter of fact!). Giving and receiving a card filled with #WellWishes is pretty special.
And yes, I have been booking shopping dates and cups-of-teas-with-friends more and more. Because a real in person visit is the most intimate way to send well wishes to friends and family. It’s a great way to catch up. Rant. Be productive (or unproductive – entirely up to you). I have also made “visits” to my local food bank to donate food. And children’s centre to donate toys.
I absolutely love this campaign.
Thanks for this – I hadn’t heard of WellWishes before!
