Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Review

December 19, 2014 37 Comments

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 replaces everything. I’m talking about replacing your laptop, tablet, gps, portable dvd player, music player, radio, gaming technology…everything!  Imagine ditching all the devices and just packing one tool in your luggage. Students, work at home parents, work outside the home people – take note – this Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Review is the best of work and play…

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Review

Imagine. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3…

One tool for when you need featherweight…
and when you want functional.

At only 1.76 Lbs (800 grams) this device is definitely portable. Multiple kickstand positions allows for comfort whether at a desk or on your lap.

One tool for when you need to be productive…
and when you want to play.

Install the desktop programs you need and access the Windows Store for the apps you want.

One tool for when you need to need information…
and when you want inspiration.

With a 9 hour battery life, 64GB or 128GB storage with 4GB RAM, 4th generation Intel® Core™ processor, and full-size USB 3.0 the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has the capacity to meet your educational and work-life needs. It also offers cool features like split screen to increase your performance (and multi-task).

One tool for when you need to connect…
and when you want to disconnect.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro software along with all the fun you need (have you tried the panorama tool in the travel app?! – it’s like a vacation without the airport lines).

One tool for when you need to concentrate…
and when you want to collaborate.

Go offline when you need to build that PowerPoint presentation or create that Word document. Then take a break online and check out your live tiles of Twitter, Facebook, news and more.

One tool for when you want to prepare…
and one tool for when you need to perform.

My kids love the gaming possibilities (with a 2160 x 1440 resolution and 12” ClearType Full HD Plus screen who wouldn’t?!). I’m loving how the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 allows me to work (and work productively!) remotely.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3…the tablet that can replace your laptop.

Stay tuned for more on the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 – there is a lot to cover to fully review this powerful hybrid (and this post only touches the Surface – bahaha – see what I did there? Surface?!). Seriously, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a cool tool – you will want to put this one your want list!

Disclosure: I received product to help facilitate this review. And the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is very impressive. As always, the opinions in this post are my own. #BetterWithWindows8

I already love it and I haven’t even seen one but this review is so very positive. Love that it’s portable and has a keyboard, I can’t be doing with typing on my phone, as I like to use all 10 fingers so much quicker 🙂 It sounds fantastic.

That’s a very lightweight device perfect for mobile users. Battery life and storage are impressive! It’s the perfect tool to bring for those who are in vacation while still working and needing to connect.

I have a Surface Pro 1 and love it. I use it as a laptop. It is very powerful and does everything my old lap top did.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 seems to be the ultimate gadget that any busy person should have. I like that it’s also not heavy.

I would love a tablet that can do all the work of my laptop. I travel all the time and this laptop can be very bulky, heavy and inconvenient.

I’ve never heard of this tablet before. I’m not sure if it would fully work for me or not, as I have grad school papers to write- usually 25 or so pages!

Thanks for sharing this great review, I’ve been debating getting one for some time now. I definitely want something that’s multi-purposeful and has a long battery life. Really helpful, I am leaning more towards it.

I have not looked at any non-apple products in a long time. It does seem like apple has been going down hill though the last few years. I’ll definitely have to do a comparison.
