Holiday Guide – Marvel Super Hero Mashers

November 17, 2014 1 Comment

Marvel super heros are a big thing in our house this year. Board books, movies, and action figures. This Holiday Guide – Marvel Super Hero Mashers post shares my picks for hot holiday toy ideas for your Marvel fan…

Marvel Super Hero Mashers

Holiday Guide – Marvel Super Hero Mashers

The premise of Marvel Super Hero Mashers is for kids to discover the possibilities of mashing up their favourite super heros. Imagine Hulk with Spiderman’s web slinging arms. Iron Man with Captain America’s legs. Thor’s head on Wolverine’s body. You get the picture. Kids, aged 4+, can mix n’ match super powers to create their own Marvel Super Hero Mashers.

What I like about my son playing with figurines is the creative, open-ended play. It’s just plain good role play. Aside: if you are like me, and don’t love your child playing with the weapons…they could *disappear into the back of the closet*…just sayin’. Marvel Super Hero Mashers

And bonus points: it’s a portable, non-screen activity! I always have an Iron Man or Captain America in my bag for long car rides. Great way to keep the kids entertained while you travel!

Marvel Super Hero Mashers are available at The Great Canadian SuperStore, Toys R Us Canada, Target, Walmart, and the Atlantic Superstore.

Each Marvel super hero has their distinct personality (just as distinct as their powers). Superman is shy. Iron Man has engineering creativity. Wolverine has instinct. Thor has history. Hulk…well, Hulk is grumpy. However, they all share their common belief in respect, good, and justice.

Which is your favourite Marvel Super Hero?
