Now For Mothers Healing Mix

September 18, 2014 Leave a Comment

I wish I had known about this back when I was one of the #zombiemoms* with my newborn…Now For Mothers Healing Mix. I didn’t take it then (I only recently learned about this natural blend of yummy ingredients) but I can take it now (it’s a superfood Moms can take from the 1st day after giving birth up to 6 years afterwards)…Now For Mothers Healing Mix

Let’s start with the Now For Mothers Healing Mix Ingredient List

Organic flax, natural butter, organic oats, organic wheat flour, natural brown sugar, organic almonds, raisins, walnuts, organic pistachios, organic pine nuts, organic honey, melon seeds, organic cinnamon

I recognize every one of those ingredients! No colours or chemicals – just real foods. And having been a Mom who breastfed – eating real food was (well, still is) so important to me.

And this healing mix smells so comforting and yummy. Maybe it’s the cinnamon or the honey…but it smells amazing. And the taste is sweet and nutty (think: the perfect blend to top your yogurt). I love to top yogurt and smoothies with something a bit crunchy – like Now For Mothers Healing Mix – but you can use it in other ways too. Add a scoop to your oatmeal (yum…warm creamy oatmeal – actually one of my favourite evening snacks). Or you can add a scoop to a warm beverage (Now For Mothers Healing Mix suggests warm milk which would be fine – but I would add it to a warm hot chocolate because chocolate is a friend to any post-pregnancy Mom n’est pas?!)

*#zombiemoms

A thread on twitter when Moms who are totally sleep deprived (almost always Moms of newborns) can connect day and night – across time zones and borders. I was one of the founding #zombiemoms (there were a handful of us who created the hashtag).

Do you remember the zombiemoms days? When you were so fuzzy brained after giving birth. Where you were always tired. Where you felt alone in the world?

Now For Mothers Healing Mix benefits many of the natural challenges I faced. It promotes natural sustained energy (so needed to keep up with a growing baby!), renews mental clarity and focus (fuzzy brain be gone!) and nurtures emotional and physical wellness (every Mom could use that!).

Now for Mothers Healing Mix

Available in retails stores across Canada (I spotted it in the vitamin and supplement aisle of my grocery store) this mix is worth a try.

Moms of young kids are always busy. Taking care of the lil’ ones, taking care work, taking care of home…there’s a lot on strain and stress on us. I think we need make taking care of MOM a priority…because…Mom needs to be in good health and wellness…so she can take care of everything else.

How do you take care of your wellness?…
