Imaginext

November 7, 2013 4 Comments

Imagine a little Imaginext. What is it you ask? Imaginext is a line of Fisher-Price toys for the 3-8 year old crowd. A world created for hours of play, imagination, discovery, and a little bit of learning. Imaginext is definitely to be put on your hot holiday toy list this year…

Imginext

That Rescue City Center above features a city scape that is sure to entertain a pre-schooler. From the gas station to hotel, from the police station to hospital – the different sides of this toy offers different play environments (from top to bottom!).

My son is not quite Imaginext-age…but soon will be. And I see how he is creepy towards adventure with his play. From putting his Mike the Knight figures into his Jake and the Neverland pirates ship…he creates worlds and situations…well, that only a toddler could imagine.

I think his adventure-thinking is being developed by what he sees…

Ed Venture

Imaginext is Turning on the Adventure by introducing the new Ed Venture webisodes featuring Ed and his friends as they discover worlds of adventure as firefighters in Hot Time in the City and as a knights in Through the Crystal Eye!

Yes, I let my son watch cartoons. And I know it helps him develop his imagination. It also helps me supervise my big kids while they do their homework. Webisodes – like Ed Venture – are my cartoon go-tos because A) no commercials B) the length is usually just enough time to keep my pre-schooler entertained but not so long he is watching for hours.

Fisher-Price Contest

Visit www.imaginextadventure.com for an awesome Imaginext contest for Canadians (you’ve probably seen the contest promoted on YTV right?!).

You and you’re little one (I always recommend parents and kids to surf on-line together rather than allowing kids to surf solo) will be able to play an online game and unlock the next phase of the game by solving clues.

By registering to play the game, contestants will be entered to win 1 of 5 $300 Imaginext prize packs (that would make holiday gift giving easier n’est pas?!).

Each prize pack will include:

• Imaginext Rescue City Centre
• Imaginext Mega Apatasaurus
• Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle
• Imaginext Batcave
• Imaginext Monsters U Scare Floor

Imagine not having to add pre-school holiday presents to your family budget because you’ve won that amazing Imaginext prize pack?! Imagine having your kids play all day on Christmas with their new toys…while you enjoy watching them with a hot coffee in one hand. Bliss! 😉

Disclosure: I receive special perks as a part of my affiliation with the  Fisher-Price Play Ambassador program with Mom Central Canada. The opinions in this blog are my own

I love Fisher-Price, such good toys and very endurable quality. Imaginext is new to me but worth looking into, Christmas is around the corner after all 😉
