Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag Review

April 11, 2013

In my everyday Mom life, my biggest essential is my diaper bag. It goes everywhere with me storing; baby toys, diapers, snacks as well as my own must-have items like wallet, mobile phone, keys and press pass (everyone carries a press pass in their diaper bag right?!).

However, carrying a functional diaper bag doesn’t mean Mom needs to forget her fashion sense. Dear readers, check out the spring style of the Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag…

Petunia Pickel bottom

Pictured above is the Petunia Pickle Bottom Sashay Satchel in Breakfast in Berkshire – beautiful n’est pas? The misted grey and eggshell wallpaper-inspired design is neutral yet the pop of embroidered green detailing makes it feel colourful and fresh.

Sleek and stylish, this diaper bag does not look diaper-bag-ish at all. Once baby is grown this bag could certainly find a new life – in your life – as a commuter bag, laptop bag or fabulous tote. I test drove this bag to two different media events and not only did it hold all my must-haves – it also brought a (much-needed) boost to my respective fashion choices. But what about a day out with baby? Let’s look at that shall we?…

Petunia Pickel Bottom diaper bag

  • Interior features two organizational pockets, two bottle pockets, one zippered pocket and a “no more digging” key clip

  • Padded shoulder straps, two exterior bottle pockets and large magazine pockets with internal cell phone pocket

  • Converts to backpack for an additional carrying option with convenient storage space when not in use

  • Removable and wipeable changing pad and PPB monogrammed plastic wipes case

  • PVC-Free Glazed wipeable exterior

Dimensions:  13.25″ L x 15″ H x 5.5″ W

Being able to throw this satchel over the shoulder while you grocery shop with baby is great. Being able to convert it to a backpack so you can be hands-free – to carry said child out of grocery store – is just plain smart.

Kuddos to the makers of Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag for thinking of Moms in their designing of one of the most essential Mom items. The zippered pocket is fantastic for safely holding a wallet. The large magazine pocket is a great place to quickly store and retrieve items. The outside bottle pockets mean you can get to that drink for toddler on demand.

This Sashay Satchel is beyond a functional diaper bag. It is style.

Disclosure: A Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag was provided for this review. And it sleek yet practical. The opinions on this post are my own.

Very stylish indeed! If I didn’t know better, I would not assume that that was a diaper bag!

They certainly have come along way from the dowdy bags of the past! Hah

That bag looks amazing! When I saw the first picture, I thought that was just your purse, and I was scrolling down expecting to see the actual diaper bag!

Petunia Pickelbottom as a black and white one with a red embellishment that looks amazing. So not the usual diaper bag.
