THE WHAT: The Westin Trillium House, Blue Mountain
THE ROOM: Super family friendly 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1 full kitchen w living room space
THE EXTRAS: Pool, kids’ club room with toys, arcade room, in hotel restaurant, underground parking, steps to Blue Mountain Village.
THE HOTEL: Heavenly! The Westin Trillium House offers families absolute comfort. We requested a crib and it was ready and waiting for us in our room upon arrival. The kids had the treat of having their very own bedroom (with a T.V. no less). They were also pretty glad they didn’t have to share a bed as the 2nd bedroom came with two double beds. The parent bedroom was spacious and lovely. As well, there was a comfortable living room with balcony overlooking the village.
When we heard there was a kitchen in our room, I expected a microwave and mini-bar fridge. Nope. FULL KITCHEN. Stove, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, even pots and pans! The bonus of having a kitchen in a hotel room is that families can keep vacation costs down by making easy breakfasts or other meals. We certainly appreciated not having to dress the baby (and ourselves!) to go down to a restaurant for his 4 am bottle! Kitchens are a good thing for families on vacation.
Staff at The Westin Trillium were friendly, outgoing, helpful and a plenty.
In addition to a gym and heated pool, The Westin Trillium House is right beside Plunge! Aquatic Center and steps from Blue Mountain Village; making it a great location for many family activities.

Disclosure: I had the opportunity to experience The Westin Trillium House first hand. And it was fantastic. The opinions of this review are my own.
I love the idea of a full kitchen when away with kids. Sometimes they are just not up for eating out!
