Parent Club tip: Kids decide dinner

October 23, 2009

Take the guess work out of dinner by letting the kids choose what to eat tonight (a Friday food shake-up).

Let the kids decide dinner (within healthy reason). Cereal + toast? Grilled cheese? Pizza? Nutella + english muffins? (can you tell we are carb heavy in my house…)

Allowing your kids to decide what to eat once in a while gives them an opportunity to make a decision, think about healthy foods, take some power about what they put in their bodies (plus it takes the guess work about what they will actually eat and coaching out of “could you just try a green bean”)
