Stuff to do during Winter Vacation

For a few hours you could;

– go skating, sledding, walking in the snow
– visit your local library
– join a friend at an indoor playplace/playground
– visit an early years centre
– take the kids for a haircut
– bake breakfast muffins
– visit a grandparent
– go to the dollar store to buy anything the kids want
– make snowmen or snow angels

In an afternoon you could;

– explore Casa Loma, Todmorden Mills or Gibson House
– have a friend over for a playdate
– go to a movie
– see a play at Solar Stage Theatre or Young People’s Theatre
– ride the TTC to the Eaton Centre
– create god’s eyes, do colouring and make decorations for the tree
– swim at an indoor swimming pool

For a whole day you could;

– dress warmly and visit the animals at the zoo
– go to the Science Centre
– visit the Royal Ontario Museum or Art Gallery of Ontario
– drive to African Lion Safari in Hamilton
– take the elevator up to the CN Tower
– visit Black Creek Pioneer Village
– play with a sister or brother
