DIY: Transform Scarf Into Vest

January 28, 2013 6 Comments

Tween girls will LOVE this! (mine did). Transform a regular, rectangular, scarf into a vest. Fashion should always be this easy! No sew. No tape. No brainer really. Fold, knot and wear. Hmmm…I should consider a Mom version for myself.

DIY transform scraft into vest

Activity ButtonYou will need:

  • Long rectangular scarf
  • Nothing else – it’s that easy-breasy!

Directions:

Fold scarf in half. Knot the two top corners together. Spread the scarf out and voila you will find arm holes. Put your arms through and you have turned a regular ol’ scarf into a vest.

Totally frugal way to get more fashion with stuff you already have in your closet.

This is amazing! It looks nice from the front and back! You could have one to match any outfit. I never would have thought that you could do this from a scarf. Very nice and thank you for the pics 🙂

And think about the possibilities – travel: one scarf can be a scarf and a vest. Beach: Scarf = beach cover-up. Baby spill: Scarf = converts to vest to hide spillage.
