An Easy Easter Lunch with Spiral Ham

March 19, 2026

Planning An Easy Easter Lunch with Spiral Ham lunch does not need to be stressful. Keep it simple. Keep it fresh. And keep it family-friendly. This easy menu centers on a spiral ham and a few light sides. All nut free.

An Easy Easter Lunch with Spiral Ham Menu

The Star: Spiral Ham

A spiral ham is a gift to busy parents. It is pre-cooked. The ham slices easily. It feeds a crowd.

Warm it low and slow. Cover with foil. Add a simple glaze if you like. Try maple syrup and a touch of Dijon mustard. Sweet and tangy. Kids love it.

Serve it on a large platter. Let guests help themselves. Easy.

SIDE SALAD OPTIONS (you don’t have to make all of them)

Fresh Spinach Salad

Balance the richness of the ham with something crisp.

Toss baby spinach with sliced strawberries. Add cucumber and shredded carrots. Sprinkle in a few crumbled pieces of feta if your guests enjoy dairy.

For dressing, keep it light. Olive oil. A splash of lemon juice. A drizzle of honey. Salt and pepper.

It feels like spring on a plate.

Simple Potato Side

Potatoes make the meal hearty. But keep them easy.

Try baby potatoes. Roast them with olive oil, garlic, and a pinch of salt. Roast until golden. No fuss.

Or serve a creamy mashed potato. Use butter and milk. Keep the flavours mild for kids.

Pasta Salad

A great make-ahead option.

Use short pasta like rotini. Toss with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and cubes of cheese. Add a simple Italian dressing.

It’s mild. Filling. And usually a hit with kids.

Rice Salad

Light but satisfying.

Use cooked and cooled rice. Mix with peas, shredded carrots, and a little feta. Add olive oil and lemon juice.

It pairs nicely with ham without feeling heavy.

Quinoa Salad

For something a bit different.

Mix cooked quinoa with chopped cucumber, apple slices, and dried cranberries. Add a light vinaigrette.

It has a nice texture and a touch of sweetness.

Bread Basket

Offer a basket of soft dinner rolls. Warm them just before serving. Add butter on the side.

This helps fill hungry kids. And it rounds out the meal.

Sweet and Simple Dessert

Keep dessert light after a big meal.

Fresh fruit salad is perfect. Use berries, melon, and grapes.

Or serve store-bought cupcakes with pastel icing. Festive and easy.

Keep It Stress-Free

Prep what you can ahead. Wash and cut veggies in the morning. Set the table early.

Use serving dishes that go from oven to table. Less cleanup.

Most of all, enjoy the moment. Easter lunch is about being together. Simple food. Happy kids. A relaxed table.
