November 17, 2020 1 Comment

These 30 mason jar and food gift ideas are great holiday gift ideas for teachers, family, friends, Secret Santa and more. Gifts from a jar are always easy holiday gift ideas and generally low cost. BONUS: you can make a bunch and always have a gift on hand for the unexpected guest!

When you think about making mason jar gifts think about layers. Hot chocolate, soup, and candies are all visually appealing when you layer them in mason jars.

Also, consider buying your ingredients in bulk to save money. Or not. Perhaps putting a cake mix in a jar with baking directions will just make gifting easier. Then, make it so. No judgment!

I think, in some ways, gifts from a jar can be more meaningful holiday gifts because they are usually filled with treats and are practical at the same time. You don’t have to worry about the fit of a sweater or the amount on an un-personal gift card. A gift from a jar is thoughtful and unique.

Personally, if you filled a jar with chocolate fudge for me…I’d be a happy camper.
