Easy Bulletin Board Makeover Under $9

October 1, 2020

This Easy Bulletin Board Makeover Under $9 sparks joy. It’s productive. Organized. Only $9. You will want to try this Easy Bulletin Board Makeover for your kids’ rooms, home office and home school area (if your kids are doing online school this year). Here is how to DIY this Easy Bulletin Board Makeover Under $9….

Easy Bulletin Board Makeover Under $9 via www.parentclub.ca

For this Easy Bulletin Board Makeover Under $9 – you will need:

  • cork board + frame
  • 3 rolls of felt (available at dollar stores and craft stores)
  • Spray adhesive (I had this already from the home building store)

Aside: Do you call this a cork board or a bulletin board? Because I first called this a cork board DIY but then when I searched Pinterest – it appears bulletin board is more appropriate. File this under: things I overthink.

Directions

  • Lay the cork board on a flat surface
  • Remove any pins or staples
  • Roll out felt and measure to your required width to cover board
  • Continue rolling, measuring and cutting felt to cover length of board
  • When you have your felt covering the board – move it to the side
  • Spray adhesive spray over lower part of cork board
  • Working quickly, place felt over when you sprayed adhesive on lower portion of cork board
  • Spray adhesive spray over upper part of cork board
  • Working quickly, place felt over when you sprayed adhesive on upper portion of cork board
  • DONE

NOTE

  • Lay the felt tightly so that you don’t have bubbles or creases
  • Lay the felt close together so the seam of the rolls is minimal
  • Don’t try and lay the felt against the adhesive and then lift to replace (it won’t replace well)
