About the T-fal SAPPHIRE
the T-fal brand has been around me for a long time. In my friend’s kitchens. In my mother-in-law’s kitchen. Let me introduce you to the T-fal Sapphire sauté pan. The first thing which struck me about this pan is that it feels lighter than it looks. I don’t know about you..but I find it cumbersome to lift heavy pans (especially when there are hot foods in it).
Here are the deets on this pan
- patented thermo-spot (so you know it’s hot)
- non-stick (very important!)
- oven safe handle
- suitable for all heat sources including: gas, electric, induction
- Food safe and dishwasher safe
No one enjoys a pan which is temperamental when it comes to heating up. You want consistent heat. This pan has it. No one wants a pan which sticks. Because A) food doesn’t turn out well with a sticky pan and B) clean up is a pain. This pan fixes both of those things.
Cooking Inspiration
You can sauté, grill and bake with the T-fal Sapphire 10.25 inch (26 cm) sauté pan. I always bake my SPANISH TORTILLA RECIPE simply because I can’t flip it in a frying pan. Until now. With this lightweight pan, I could flip it. Or start it on the stove top and then pop it in the oven (in the same pan) to finish cooking the top without drying it out.
