50 Best Tech and Electronic Gift Ideas

November 19, 2019 42 Comments

I was asked by Walmart Canada to share my 50 Best Tech and Electronic Gift Ideas for this holiday season. I brainstormed stocking stuffers, gifts for her, gifts for him, gifts for teens. Basically, everyone on your shopping list is covered.

50 Best Tech and Electronic Gift Ideas

I know you on’t always think tech and electronic gifts for holiday gift giving. But it’s amazing the shopping inspiration one gets when browsing Walmart Canada. A diffuser (I love mine). A portable speaker (both my teens have portable speakers and use them all the time). Headphones for a commuter. 2-in-1 tablet (with a keyboard so it can be use as a laptop too) for the entrepreneur or student. Game systems for kids. Camera for the family photographer. I could go on and on with ideas!…

Things to consider when shopping

I think, when you are shopping for the someone special in your life, you need to consider:

  • what they like
  • what they need
  • your budget

I also, personally, try to get as much of my shopping done in one place because convenience is key. If I shop online – I make sure I have enough in my cart so I can take advantage of free shipping. If I’m shopping in a store I want to make good use of the parking spot I found outside (so I buy as much as I can to mark things off my list and appreciate that parking spot!).

Surf over to the Walmart Hub to read my 50 Best Tech and Electronic Gift Ideas. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the article!

End note on buying electronics and tech gifts

Electronics an tech gifts often come with warranties. Keep these papers in a safe place in case you need to refer back to them. Also, think of the bigger item electronic gifts (phones, computers, gaming systems) as gifts which will be used all-year long.50 best tech and electronic gift ideas via www.parentclub.ca

I adore my diffuser, too. There was a big news story about oils on our station the other night. I think there are some oils (tea tree) that are poisonous to dogs. Great tech ideas, too.

Yes you need to be thoughtful about which oils to diffuse. Peppermint is always my go-to.

For sure any electronic toy bought for kids need the additional accidental damage coverage. Wish so many kids we use those kinds of warranties a lot and they are worth every penny!

When it comes to the latest tech, we aren’t always on top of the best. This list is so helpful! I really appreciate how everything is listed out for specific types of people. I fall right in the “For the homeowner who doesn’t like to clean” category. Really eyeing that Roomba!
