5 Reasons Why You Want To Put On Sunscreen -> #1. Did you know that one in every ten Canadians has never used sunscreen? Or that 72% have intentionally chosen NOT to wear it? It is important to wear sunscreen every single day you (and your family) is out in the sun…Park playground swings

5 Reasons Why You Want To Put On Sunscreen

#2. Sun burns. They hurt. They burn. They are so totally avoidable.

#3. Sun damage. Ok, so you want the tan now…but how will that sun exposure affect your skin in 30 years?

#4. Protect and hydrate your skin. Sun exposure dries out your skin.

#5. Sunscreen is so portable…you can take it everywhere.

Suncreen Tips Aveeno

I carry AVEENO® BABY® Sensitive Skin Face Sun Stick SPF 50 in my bag with me where ever I go during the summer months.  Plus, I keep our Aveeno sunscreen basket near our front door – so it’s super accessible to quickly apply before we step out the door.

For those who want UV protection plus moisturization, try AVEENO® PROTECT + HYDRATE Sun protection with ACTIVE NATURALS® Colloidal Oatmeal to help reverse dehydration caused by the sun in a single application; it reduces water loss and provides more hydration so skin is left feeling healthier than it did before sun exposure.

Disclosure: This post is powered by Aveeno. Opinions are my own.

I need to be much more diligent in wearing sunscreen. I don’t spend a lot of time in the sun but already see many sunspots on my arms.

I’ve been using more and more sunscreen. Mostly because it ages.

I agree with being concerned. A family history with skin cancer makes me very aware of sun exposure.

I love Aveeno too – not greasy like other sunscreens.

The first time I went to Spain, my olive-skinned DH said ‘You won’t burn’ he was so WRONG. I’ve never had a sun burn worse than that day…my fair skin always has sunscreen now.

Sunscreen is so very important. I know many people who have gotten skin cancer from not protecting their skin!

We are HUGE sunscreen users at our house! My MIL never used to put sunscreen on my hubby when he was little, and now that he’s grown, he has already had to have three skin cancers removed. Nothing to play with, for sure!

Getting sunburned is so dangerous. I always make sure that both my sons and I have sunscreen on before we spend any time outdoors.
