Mom Outfits – What To Wear

February 29, 2016 4 Comments

Mom Outfits – What To Wear…this can be a challenge n’est pas?! What to wear on a casual day out? on a plane? to lunch? on Mom’s date night? You will want to print this out and tape it to your closet door….

You can’t go wrong with boyfriend jeans, a classic T, cardi for layering, and some simple sneakers (because you never know which kid you’ll run after next). Add a pop of colour with a backpack which will carry all your kid-stuff yet make you feel in style. And yes, always a scarf (which you can use as a scarf, breastfeeding cover up, blanket stroller or make-shift picnic blanket).

Layers and comfort are musts for any travel (and specifically planes because once the air conditioners get turned on in-flight it can get chilly). A wrap sweater is awesome (and looks amazing). Leggings keep your comfortable. A long t-shirt hides your bits and pieces nicely. And comfy shoes you can slip on and off for those red eye flights.

What to wear…lunch with friends?

Business casual is lunch uniform right? Keep the framework simple (stripe dress, basic cardigan) and then show your Mom style with statement accessories! Make your flats pop, you bag sing, your jewelry whisper (she’s got it going on).

Mom deserves to feel (and look) hot once in a while. Really. A leather-look pair of jeggings will make you look on point (plus – extra points for being comfy). A chiffon top is a feminine offset to the leather. A topper jacket makes you look like business when you are ready to party. Wrist-let…a must. Remember this motto: KTJS -> keep the jewelry simple.  And a wrist-let provides the convenience of having your driver’s license in hand’s reach…for when they ask you for you id at the bar 😉
