Secret – Holiday Stress Buster

December 9, 2015 12 Comments

No joke. I just bought mini Secret deodorants as stocking stuffers. Why? Because my Secret – Holiday Stress Buster is not not sweat (the small stuff or otherwise). It’s true women’s bodies can go through a lot of stress (me more than most people because I’m a stress-type-gal). Think of my stocking stuffers as the gift of confidence…

Secret - Holiday Stress Buster

Think of all the stressful holiday situations one might experience. Hosting (just standing at a hot stove stirring the gravy raises your tempreture). Holiday parties (cold chatting with strangers is stressful). School holiday concert (I swear the gym is like a crock pot). Finishing off work (oh those deadline). Getting the kids to bed (oh those kids). Shopping. Parking. It all adds up to a hot mess sometimes.

How to bust holiday stress…

Exercise to bust the stress on your own terms. So go to the gym. Go for a good walk. Have a dance party in your living room. Take the kids to the park. Go for a run.

Plan and prep. Keep the stress under containment by being organized. Make lists (I actually make mental lists of talking points for holiday parties “Do you have hobbies?” is a good cold chat talking point). Outsource where possible (i.e. buy dessert instead of making it). Share the responsibilities (you cook and they clean).

Secret – Holiday Stress Buster

It’s no surprise then that across Canada, Secret Clinical Strength flies off the shelves close to the holidays. With Adapts & Responds technology, only Secret Clinical Strengths deodorant is designed specifically to provide 48 hour odour protection, and four times the protection against the worst smelling stress sweat.

This cult favourite product, has become a go-to secret-weapon for managing long to-do lists, and still looking and feeling confident at holiday parties. It has also become a favourite stocking stuffer for women across Canada.

This year, giving the gift of confidence is easier than ever with Secret Clinical – the perfect “holiday stress sweat buster,” or stocking stuffer.

Disclosure: #sponsored. As always, the opinions in this post are my own.

I plan ahead for party small talk also. It makes everything so much less awkward if you’re ready for a conversation. The more organized I am, the less stress the holidays are to me. 🙂

I don’t usually get stressed out over the holidays! It is family and they already know you and what you can and can’t do. I do exercise pretty regularly now and I think that helps with stress over all.

I am a horrible planner with stuff like this. I feel like my mind is going in 100 directions and can’t seem to focus. I thank you for some tips!

Oh my, yes women experience so much stress. I’ve been overly stressing for at least the past few days. Luckily, once I hit vacation mode this afternoon, that stress will be relieved for at least a few days.

We try to get ouside for playtime as much as possible. We go for walks, take a trip to the park, or even just play in the yard. It’s a good stress-reliever for all of us.

Exercise and walking is most definitely my stress busters. I don’t know how I’d maintain without doing one or the other.
