GLAD Store and Share Baking Tips

GLAD Store and Share Baking Tips…

* OK…I am eating cookies I just baked while I am writing this post.

Here is my store and share baking tip #1 – put baked cookies into a GLAD holiday container and then freeze them. That way you won’t be tempted (or able) to munch on them while you write blog posts.

Tip #2: put ingredients in deep dish containers.  Easy way to keep your baking ingredients fresh and organized (I just put my brown sugar in a deep dish container myself).

Tip #3: double batch bake. Bake ahead with a double batch and save your treats in portioned off freezer bags or containers. I will definitely be baking brownies and cookies two weeks in advance and then freezing them until the holidays.

Tip #4: share the cheer. Send your baked goods to elderly neighbours, family, and friends. Even just 2 cookies in a freezer bag can make a cheery holiday difference to someone.

Tip #5: Make ahead meals. The holidays can be hectic times…make ahead soups, stews, pasta dishes and store them in containers in your freezer so that you have homemade meals on hand when you don’t have time to make dinner.

GLAD Limted Edition Holiday CollectionGLAD holiday container

“tis the season – store, shared and spread the cheer with GLAD. GLAD Holiday Freezer Zipper Bags (Medium and Large sizes) are perfect to share baked goods with family and friends. GLAD Holiday Tall Entree containers boldly and safely go from freezer to microwave to
dishwasher and are great storage solutions for herbs and veggies along with holiday treats. GLAD Holiday Deep Dish Containers are big on space (perfect for holiday left overs). GLAD holiday press’n Seal food wrap is holiday practicality to cover bowls and casserole dishes to prevent spilling on route to your next holiday party.

Disclosure: #sponsored. As always, the opinions in this post are my own.

I love these Glad containers, I looked EVERYWHERE for the Glad sandwhich bags that had the cars on them in the summer and couldn’t find them anywhere

Oh my gosh! I need to freeze cookies too. We literally go through a batch within a day of them being baked.

We use glad all the time. They are so easy to store stuff in and if they get lost it’s not a big deal.

These are some great tips. I would need to freeze some cookies too or else I’d eat them all while working. Hehe.

My mom gets Glad to send leftovers home with us. They are nice enough to reuse, but inexpensive enough to not cry if their lost.

I actually love frozen cookies, so that doesn’t work as a deterrent for me. lol But I do use those containers on a daily basis!

I am all about my GLAD containers ! we use them everyday. I like your idea of baking a double batch especially with the holidays here and family gatherings…that and I may just eat them all before I am able to set them out lol

I like my containers for my cookies and other foods too, though I don’t have enough (who does?) and I also use tins to store cookies that will be eaten fairly quickly. I’ve never tried freezing cookies though, I might try that this year 🙂

I’ve been really happy with my Glad containers. I bought a big box set in September, and the pieces are holding up so well! They also came with fun patterns and coloured lids that make matching tops and containers really easy. I recommend!
