Fall. Colder air. Dry skin. Layers of clothes. Though I LOVE the layers of clothes (I’m a layer girl) I don’t love the colder air and dry skin. Here are 3 Tips To Reduce Dry Skin to help reduce the irritated and sometimes red skin brought on by seasonal changes…
3 Tips To Reduce Dry Skin
Drink up my friends…and lots of it. Hydrate your skin from within! Water, obviously is the #1 beverage to drink. Try some natural flavouring like infusing your water with lemons or cucumbers or orange slices. This will get your water a bit of taste (and looks pretty glam too).
Positively awesome skin products. It’s no secret I use Aveeno (every. single. day.). Try Aveeno Active Naturals positively radiant cc eye cream which instantly conceals signs of fatigue (including dark circles), while improving skin’s tone and appearance throughout the day. Gentle and lightweight this product is oil-free, hypoallergencia and non-comedogenic.
I, for one, will be starting a Fall routine of night cream (I always thought night cream was something from my Grandma’s era…but I realize Grandma had beauty right). Aveeno Active Naturals ultra-calming nourishing night cream combines two of nature’s most effective (and clinically proven) ingredients for sensitive skin like mine…Aveeno actives calming feverfew and active naturals oat.
Get active. Ok, I really wanted to write…get in bed and don’t come out until April (because brrrr). But getting active is a healthy way to feel good about the skin you are in. Myself, I am walking more and am committing to going on the stationary bike for 30 minutes twice a week (maybe I should do that more often?! baby steps.).
But there are simple ways to be active. Office workers – you can take the stairs. Stay at home Moms – park further away from the grocery store and walk. Grandma – walk around the block. Friends – plan a regular work out date (my neighbour has starting inviting me out for work out dates – I admit – it’s fun to do it with a friend). Couples – try a new fitness class together (did I tell you about the time I did hot yoga with my husband?!)
