Rubbermaid Lunchblox® Kid Friendly Lunches

July 20, 2015 1 Comment

Rubbermaid Lunchblox® kid-friendly lunch containers have made my lunch packing easier! Everything is organized (which I love), the foods are separated (which my kids love), and it all packs into a standard size lunch bag (which everyone loves). Discovering a creative and healthy packed lunch can brighten a kids’ day…so why not add your own touches to make lunchtime a little more fun…

 Kid Friendly Lunch Ideas…

Kid Friendly Lunch Rubbermaid Lunchblox

How can you make your child’s lunch a little more fun?

  • Try using cookie cutters to cut out sandwich shapes.
  • Poke soft fruit (mango, strawberries, melon) onto Popsicle sticks.
  • Add homemade muffins or cookies as a fun dessert.
  • Write a note, joke, or riddle to your child and include it in the lunchbox

You could also leverage the modular component of the Rubbermaid Lunchblox® Kids containers by separating ingredients and allowing kids to use their own creativity to make their own lunch:

  • Make your own tacos
  • Build your own sandwich
  • Make your own salad
  • Make your own yogurt parfait

I’m sure you’ve seen the Rubbermaid Lunchblox® products in your local grocery store. These modular containers snap together to stay organized in kids’ lunch bags. The kits include an ice tray to keep foods cold (which is so important to keep foods safe). I’m sold on these containers! I have to pack two snacks plus a lunch for each of my three kids and I like how this stackable system works.

The containers are easy to open (no adult required!). They are also leak-proof (leak-proof is always a good thing when it comes to anything lunch related!).

Aside: My Easy School Lunch List is great to put up on your fridge for kid-friendly lunch inspiration. I always try to add a kid portion of fruit, veggies, grains, dairy, and protein to all of their meals.

Rubbermaid Lunchblox® modular containers are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe (and BPA-free). Which means you can pack up that leftover pizza in the sandwich container, freeze it, and take it out on the “oh no I don’t have anything for lunch day”…I know you have those days…I have those days!

Better Lunch in a Snap! Rubbermaid Lunchblox® makes packing lunch easier than ever. Modular containers are perfectly portioned and snap together to stay organized in kids’ lunch bags. Rubbermaid.com
