My First Time Using Sonicare DiamondClean

June 17, 2015 33 Comments

My First Time Using Sonicare DiamondClean – I was surprised at how quiet a high-tech toothbrush could be – like won’t-wake-the-kids-quiet – it’s a really quiet toothbrush. My first time using Sonicare DiamondClean also surprised me in some other ways…

My First Time Using Sonicare DiamondClean

My First Time Using Sonicare DiamondClean

It was like a massage for my mouth. With a combination of approximately 31,000 brush strokes per minute the Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush – you can see how it is massage-like! I certainly don’t brush that often or that fast with a manual toothbrush.

Being a sensitive soul (with sensitive gums!) I like that you can choose your toothbrush mode. The 5 brush modes include: clean, white, polish gum care and sensitive. You simply press the on/off button and the settings light up on the brush handle as you scroll down the brush modes. It’s high tech but really simple to use.

Philips Sonicare DiamondClean

Philips Sonicare has an easy-start feature that help you get used to the brushing with a power toothbrush by gently increasing the brushing power during the first 14 sessions. After the 14th brushing session the toothbrush will have reached its optimal brushing power. Great for sensitive souls like me.

Light-weight and balanced. This toothbrush is easy to handle.

Of my 10 Teeth Brushing Tips #2 was choosing the right brush. The Sonicare DiamondClean brushes smoothly even in the hard-to-reach areas of your mouth. It’s effortless.

I like that the box comes with two brush heads (and the travel case has spots for two brush heads); making this a one toothbrush is better than two travel solution. My husband and I can each claim a DiamondClean brush and take turns switching the brush heads onto the body of the Sonicare toothbrush. That way we each get the deep clean experience but only have to pack one device.

And of course, there is the charging. The Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush comes with a charging glass (high tech!), charging travel case which can be connected via usb or wall outlet. You won’t be able to say you couldn’t charge your powerbrush.

Upon My First Time Using Sonicare DiamondClean I was left with one feeling…looking forward to bedtime teeth brushing! 🙂

That looks like a great toothbrush. I’ve never gone back to a manual after the first time I used an electric. They clean so much better!

I could definitely see myself switching to this brush. I brush too hard so it would help me a lot.

I really like the idea of a couple using the same base but each having your own brush head. My husband and I could both benefit from a better toothbrush.

Sounds like a really nice, good quality brush. Maybe I could hint to my hubby to get me one for my birthday.

The timing of this is so good. I’ve just been feeling I need a new toothbrush. We have an electric toothbrush for our kids but I have a manual one and have been wanting to try something different!

You know how people get addicted to the rush of doing stuff like skydiving? I am addicted to that clean feeling right after leaving the dentist. This sounds like the perfect way to get that feeling more often!

The clean on an electric toothbrush is so much better than a traditional one. I need to pick one of these up.

I’m looking for a new electric toothbrush for myself, but I’m also thinking about getting one for my son… I wonder if it’s safe to use one if you have braces? I think it would make it easier to clean around his braces if he had one, but I wouldn’t want to damage the braces.

Good question…I’d ask the orthodontist so you have the best information for your son’s braces.
