10 Teeth Brushing Tips

June 9, 2015 27 Comments

Feel the pride in your smile with these 10 Teeth Brushing Tips. Simple, convienent, at home or during travel these tips will make teeth health easier…

10 Teeth Brushing Tips

10 Teeth Brushing Tips

  1. Brush your teeth everyday. Sounds obvious (but come that late-night-I’m-too-tired feeling it might not feel obvious). Brush your teeth at least two times a day. Everyday.
  2. Choose the right brush. I recently had the chance to experience the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean – and it is an indescribable experience. My first time with Sonicare was positive. Clean. Easy.
  3. Convenient. One of the things I like best about the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean is that it is a convenient tooth brush. Coming with a handy and compact charging travel case (that’s right –  it can be charged by connecting to USB or wall outlet) – this tooth brush is the perfect tool for at home or during travel. Philips Sonicare DiamondClean
  4. Comfort. Don’t force tooth brushing. Let the brush do it’s work. It has been proven tht Philips Sonicare DiamondClean removes up to 7 times more plaque than a manual toothbrush (and it whitens teeth in just one week).
  5. Switch it up. Don’t start brushing your teeth in the same spot every time. Switch up starting spots to ensure every tooth gets the attention it deserves.
  6. Let your tooth brush air dry. Don’t store toothbrushes touching each other (bacteria!). Stand tooth brushes up and allow them to air dry.
  7. Comfort. My first experience with Sonicare surprised me with the light and slim design of the Sonicare DiamondClean brush.
  8. Change brush heads regularly. Think: every new season get a new brush head (broken bristles won’t clean your teeth properly).
  9. Rinse your tooth brush. Keep your tooth brush clean by rinsing it with water after each use.
  10. Brushing modes. Clean, white, polish, gum care and sensitive — the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean comes with 5 brushing modes to make your teeth brushing easier.

These are great tips. I rinse my toothbrush all the time when I brush. It’s nice to know that it’s good for me rather than me just having a thing that I do.

I know that choosing the right toothbrush is tough sometimes. If I get a brush that is too hard, I end up with bleeding gums when I brush. That Sonicare brush may be what I need.

Remember to toss your toothbrush in the trash when you’ve been sick so you don’t let the bacteria that made you sick linger.

This looks great. I need to get this for my husband and myself. I am afraid to know what is lurking on my toothbrush!

I don’t want to think about what’s lurking on toothbrushes…which is why I change the brush head every season 😉

This is really helpful. My daughter has a Sonicare but not the newest version. I could probably use one though, I brush too hard!

Great tips. I remember a friend doing a speech on teeth brushing when I was a kid and it just kind of stuck with me. I remember not knowing to brush my tongue… LOL

Thanks for all the great tips! I personally love the soft toothbrushes I’m given at the dentist. I have sensitve teeth, so those work great for me.

The Sonicare DiamondClean actually has a sensitive setting (I have sensitive gums – so I know what you mean)

These are great tips! Especially letting the tooth brushes air dry. That’s a less commonly known tip!

My kids are so crummy at brushing their teeth. They’re old enough though that they don’t like my help anymore. Maybe with a brush like this, it would help them out.

The difference between a manual toothbrush and a powered one is just awesome. You feel so much more clean and they work so much faster.

Great tips and my biggest problem is doing it twice a day. By the time it’s time to go to bed, I am usually not able to think straight
