Surprise #CTSavesSanta

December 25, 2014 Leave a Comment

There is nothing more frustrating than being in a broken down vehicle in winter. We all know this right?! Just last winter, I was stranded with my kids in our minivan which just would not turn on (despite my ever-loving pleads). No fun at all. Well, imagine if that happened to Santa! And imagine if you had a hashtag to follow it…#CTSavesSanta.#CTSavesSanta

#CTSavesSanta

I have news from the North Pole! Santa was at a Canadian Tire auto bay in Bowmaville last night, frustrated as his sleigh had broken down. Who wouldn’t be?! Stranded on Christmas Eve! The service technician couldn’t believe it but he got work on the famous sleigh as you can see here…

As Canada’s Christmas Store, Canadian Tire is focused on making the holidays as stress-free as possible by making Christmas shopping one-stop. This year, they even fixed Santa’s sleigh ensuring all presents would be delivered on time.

One-stop shopping is always a good thing.

Canadian Tire knows that customers are busy during the holidays – from decorating to entertaining and shopping for gift. They have a long list of things to take care of, often on a tight timeline and even tighter budget. Canadian Tire strives to bring the latest and most innovative products while delivering the exceptional value Canadians have come to expect. I say, Santa knows good value taking his sleigh to Canadian Tire for repair.

Wonder if the sleigh needed a windshield wiper replacement? Or an suspension check?!…

I remember my frustration in the minivan that winter evening…when all I wanted to do was get my kids home…and I was stranded…cold…and frustrated. Follow the #CTSavesSanta hashtag and join me in remembering that  while we all might experience a road block once in a while…even over the holidays…with some patience and help from the experts…road blocks can be cleared to get you where you to need to go.

Yes, we did eventually get the kids home that evening. The kids and I took modern day “sleigh and reindeer” (a taxi) while my husband stayed behind to coax the minivan back to life (30 minutes later it was resuscitated). That taxi driver delivered us home safe and sound…just like Santa does every year with presents for boys and girls everywhere.

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Canadian Tire. As always, the opinions in this post are my own.
