Dempster’s Healthy Ways Bread

August 10, 2014 32 Comments

As a Mom who tries to offer the best nutritional choices for her kids (it’s doesn’t always happen – sometimes you have to indulge in an ice cream cone right?!) thus I am always on the look out for new ways to switch up their regular foods. Introducing Dempster’s Healthy Ways Bread – it’s a new take on your old sandwich. And my Dempster’s Healthy Way Bread Menu below might help back-to-school meal planning be a little easier…

Dempster's Healthy Way Bread

What is Dempster’s Healthy Way Bread?

Dempster’s Healthy Way Pro-Cardio – 100% whole grain bread uniquely designed for those looking to maintain healthy cholesterol and blood pressure levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.

Dempster’s Healthy Way Double My Fibre – 100% whole grain loaf (with a whopping 48% daily value of fibre)

Dempster’s Healthy Way Pro-Cardio Multi-Grain – for those who like lots of grains!

Dempster’s Healthy Way Say No To Fat and Sugar 100% Whole Grain Loaf – (everyone could use this in their lives)

Dempster’s Healthy Way Boost My Protein – (11 grams of protein per 2 slices)

If you are like me…you are thinking…great new finds…but how do I incorporate them into my everyday life? My kids are hesitant to try – even taste – something new most days. So my idea is to add Dempster’s Healthy Way Bread into existing meal menus to give the family some extra goodness hidden within their tried and true tastes.

See if my Dempster’s Healthy Way Bread Menu fits your taste buds…Dempster's Healthy Way Bread

Toast and honey are a favourite breakfast in our house. It’s stress-free, full of goodness, and quick for the back-to-school morning rush.

A sandwich with cheese is an easy pack-able for school lunch, work lunch, and even early-lunch-at-the-playground-because-my-kid-falls-asleep-on-the-stroller-walk-home.

Soup and a piece of bread is simple comfort. It travels great in a Thermos. It also makes a fast and easy dinner.

Toast and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Who would have thought right? But it’s soothing for sick days and quick for after school snack.

Toast and jam is my go-to for pre-sport snacks. It seems to give a bit of a boost and is that perfect sweet treat.

Do you have any healthy ways to switch up breakfast, lunch, and snacks?…

Disclosure: #spon and toast and honey are truly breakfast favs here. As always, the opinions in this post are my own.

We try to switch in healthier snacks and food options at all meals. And try to avoid buying overly processed foods.

We tend to eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies as snacks and incorporate them into our meals as well. Eating homemade foods instead of store bought is definitely a healthier way to go also. I want to try that Dempster’s Healthy Way Double My Fibre. That’s a whole lot of fiber!

We try to eat lots of veggies and fruit, but our family loves peanut butter toast with bananas and toast with hummus and veggies. Yum!

We only use non-GMO verified bread, but love your suggestions for making it fun to eat! Thanks for the tips, I haven’t had cinnamon sugar for ages but might make myself a midnight snack now!

Great ideas for incorporating bread into my kiddos diet. I’ve never heard of this company, I’ll have to keep my eyes out.

I looooove the way this bread is marketed with the different titles, like ‘boost my protein’ – I would definitely like to try the fiber-rich one…I’m a fanatic for fiber. I’m currently not eating bread now though (sad face)…I will have to see if this is available in my area.

We will often have toast and scrambled eggs for breakfast, lunch or dinner to mix things up. Easy and popular with all four picky kids.

I have never seen this. I try to buy natural foods and make my own veggie burgers instead of making premade. I also like to eat yogurt and fruit with granola instead of unhealthy snack food for in between meals.
